At Assemblin Caverion Group, the Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the sustainability matters. Operational sustainability matters are delegated to the CEO, the Executive Management Team, the Group Sustainability function and senior managers across the divisions. In order to work in an efficient way, Assemblin Caverion Group has established a group-wide Sustainability Steering Committee as well as a Sustainability Network.

Board of Directors
- Oversees the sustainability matters and their progress, implementation, reporting and follow-up including impacts, risks and opportunities (IROs), approves the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA), ESG agenda, policies, strategic target, KPIs, internal controls and annual Group-wide sustainability action plan
- Integrates sustainability into corporate strategy, long-term planning, risk assessment and due diligence and evaluates ESG practices as well as their implementation and effectiveness
- Specific sustainability topics are reviewed by Board Committees based on their responsibilities

Audit Committee
- Oversees the internal control and risk management systems incl. sustainability-related risks and approves the internal audit plan and reviews the audit reports
- Oversees sustainability reporting, compliance with key risk areas, laws and regulations including those related to sustainability
Remuneration Committee
- Oversees social sustainability aspects in remuneration and appointment matters and assess sustainability-related KPIs in the context of executive compensation
- Annual review of the Board’s independence, experience, and competence incl. sustainability expertise
Internal control and risk management
- Heads the group-wide risk management and internal control processes including integration of sustainability-related risks into general risk management
President and CEO
- Responsible for implementation of the ESG targets and reporting on sustainability issues to the Board
Executive Committee / Executive Management Team
- Reviews, approves and monitors the implementation of and development of sustainability-related policies, management and operational frameworks, agenda, targets, and performance and the annual sustainability report
- Conducts regular sustainability performance reviews across Assemblin Caverion Group

Group Sustainability Steering Committee
- Steers the alignment of the sustainability agenda, priorities, and the implementation of sustainability activities across Assemblin Caverion Group
- Contributes to the sustainability agenda, materiality assessment, and reviews sustainability targets and performance
- Provides additional insight to sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities (IROs)
- Members: Senior leaders from Group Finance, HR, Legal and Compliance, Procurement, Communication and Sustainability
Group Sustainability Function
- Drives the implementation of the ESG agenda, targets and actions needed to achieve targets at the operational level
- Subject matter experts contribute fact-based input to the different functions and businesses, support the organisation with training and guidance, and promote decision-making consistent with our values, practices and the law
- Ensures corporate sustainability reporting is in line with requirements and regulations and oversees robust and impartial concern reporting, investigation and remediation processes
Sustainability Network
- Implements the group-wide sustainability principles, policies, processes, targets and action plans defined at group-level into the business operations
