Our commitments and donations

We are committed to operating in accordance with internationally recognised human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption standards, such as the UN Global Compact and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Core Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Science Based Targets initiatives (SBTi) to limit global warming to 1.5°C in line with the Paris Agreement.

We expect the same commitments from our business partners. These commitments are declared as part of our Code of Conduct and Supplier Code of Conduct. In addition, we contribute to the protection of the Baltic Sea by donating to the John Nurminen Foundation, which is considered to be our geographical heart.

John Nurminen Foundation

We support John Nurminen Foundation with their mission to save the Baltic Sea and its heritage for future generation. The Baltic Sea is our geographical heart but unfortunately, it is also one of the most polluted seas in the world. We are playing a part in improving the sustainability of the built environment directly related to the Baltic Sea through our services for hydropower and marine environments. Assemblin Caverion Group is one of the key partners of John Nurminen Foundation.
