Assemblin Ventilation has signed an agreement to acquire certain operations in northern Sweden from Indoor Energy through an asset deal. The operations have 8 employees and annual sales of about SEK 25 million and primarily offer services in cooling technology, a strategic growth area for Assemblin.
The acquired operations in Luleå and Skellefteå (in northern Sweden) work with smaller projects and services predominantly within cooling technology but also in ventilation and technical property services. The acquired operations will be integrated with existing Assemblin operations in these locations.
”We are very pleased to be able to strengthen our position in northern Sweden, particularly within cooling technology, one of our growth areas. We are highly familiar with the operations from earlier partnerships and are impressed by their expertise,” comments Håkan Ekvall, EVP and Business Area Manager at Assemblin Ventilation.
The transaction is scheduled to be closed preliminarily in early September.
”Our employees on site will now be part of a larger context with local colleagues, continuing to develop the operations this way. We are pleased to be able to transfer the operations in Luleå and Skelleftea to such a strong and stable owner as Assemblin. We already know each another well and look forward to our continued partnership. I am certain that this will benefit both customers and employees,” says Åsa Wikensten, CEO of Indoor Energy.
